Because the Home BESS features an advanced passive balancing capability of about 10% SOC per day, a technician can simply bring a new 26.5 kg module into your home, stack it directly on top of your existing system, and leave. Not everyone has the indoor space for a battery, meaning it must be installed outdoors where it is exposed to the elements. If you live in an area prone to severe weather, the Home BESS’s die-cast aluminum enclosure is IP66-rated and offers 72-hour flood resilience.
